that is easy.................say hello, say you want to use your English, and ask if the person has time to talk. If I am not doing something presently I would always want to talk with someone.... over tea, a beer, a walk in the park.......... Ask questios...............where are you from, what do you like to do..........etc. I have used a game called 20 Questions to learn more about someone and it can open vocaulary from simple to comples...........Ask 4 groupd of 5 questions of each other...........You will be surprised how much you will learn about someone and the challenge of vocabulary.

Take it easy, dont be afraid of making mistakes and as JieFu said ''ask questions''. It's not your mother tongue I'm sure no one will laugh at you when you make a mistake. In fact it's fun to speak in a foreign language :))

First, greet them with a sweet smile in your face.. "hello" / "hi" Then throw the first question: " how are you doin'?" (they will reply of course and this will be the start of your conversation). next step is to introduce youself, where are you from, etc. there's actually a lot of things to tell like: "I'ts a good sunny day, are you enjoying your stay here?" "you must be enjoying your stay, how long have you been here?" just a tip: never overdo the asking, meaning, don't ask a lot. another important thing is, be confident to whatever you say or ask. like ΣПЯIQЦΣDΛ says, they probably try to understand you.... they are in your country anyway.. good luck... jia you/ :)
