What is the meaning of "Cool with a k"? In which context should we use this kind of phrases?

Yes, we use this in humour and in text to make the word stand out. It's quite common to see other words beginning with C replaced with K especially in advertisement. We also do a similar thing with the letters S and Z, for example, my son's childminder's business is called "Kool Kidz" :)

It sounds like it was said in humour - it is ironic, as one does not spell Cool with a K.
