What is called a doctor's office( where he/she visits patients)? Clinic room!?

In the UK it's called a "doctor's surgery" or simply a "surgery"; in the US I believe it's called a "doctor's office".

In the US:
Doctor's office - the building itself that has the offices and exam rooms for a certain doctor. Also, the room in the building that the doctor uses for his personal use (paperwork, keeping his medical books, etc.)
Exam room - can be called consultation room, is where the doctor actually meets with patients.

Either a consulting or consultation room.
