This is how people use it : if you think something is NICE you just like it... but if you think something is AWESOME you love it, you think it's great, amazing, excellent, etc . ^^

nice = pleasant = lovely = good: all these words can describe times, events, feelings and the weather. 'nice' and 'pleasant' can also describe places, and 'nice' can describe somebody's appearance. it can also be used to describe a person (= friendly, sweet, wonderful, lovely, pleasant, charming). awesome (informal) = very good = impressive = great there are many informal words that can be used instead of 'awesome' such as 'cool', 'terrific', 'fantastic' and 'great'.

Nice means something that is pleasant, amiable, relaxing, and so on. Awesome means to fill you with a feeling of AWE. People often use both these words excessively, without thinking of the meaning. So if someone describes something as "awesome" or "nice", just take it with a grain of salt.
