talk someone's ear ( idiom ) talk someone's head ( idiom ) meaning: Talk so much as to exhaust the listener or annoy him/her . examples: if he can get you on the phone, he'll talk your ear off, every time. “You have to stop! You’ve talked my ear off!” so great catching up!!! Sorry to talk your ear off! This lady is nice and all but she will talk your ear off!!!!

Imagine you talked at someone so much that their ear fell off, from exhaustion. That's a lot of talking. ;)
