Initial lesson to establish aims and objectives of the student, assess level and discuss preferred method of learning.  The focus will be on speaking and listening skills.  A short activity to establish strengths and weaknesses will also be included.

If you want to improve your fluency, understanding, build confidence and develop your language skills, this is the lesson for you.  Each lesson has a specific theme and will include vocabulary, phrases, idioms, grammar and pronunciation.  All the skills are practised - reading, writing, listening and speaking. The content of the session will depend on your current level of English and your target level.  English culture and customs as well as global themes are covered.

General English and Conversation

Preparation for IELTS/FCE/CAE/TOEFL exams. Practice in listening, speaking, reading and writing requirements. Pronunciation, grammar and correct punctuation practice.  Classes are followed by homework targeted to cover specific listening/reading/writing tasks including the marking of one essay per lesson.  Regular mock exams and level assessments are encouraged. Intensive courses subject to availability.
