This lesson will be conducted on Skype or What's App, using audio only.

An opportunity to practice conversing in English with an experienced, qualified teacher, native English speaker and award-winning writer. This is the perfect opportunity to have interesting and lively discussions on interesting topics and ask questions about some of the issues you face when speaking English. This is a very popular class, so book early to avoid disappointment!

Here are some of the methods I use in my conversation classes:

•	Conversation practice, in which I will ask you endless questions to stimulate a discussion
•	Reading articles with you in the class, and discussing them with you using elegant and sophisticated English vocabulary
•	Reading scripts or podcast transcripts with you
•	Discussing philosophical quotes and ideas with you to help you to gain confidence in social, academic and philosophical conversations
•	Reading motivational books or classic English and American novels with you, and discussing them
•	Discussing books you have read recently
•	Correction and/or study advice at the end of each lesson

The aim of this class is to help you to increase your confidence and fluency when discussing a wide range of topics, in a multitude of social and professional situations.

I welcome new students who wish to study conversational English for travel, work, study or just for fun! My lessons are engaging and interactive but also highly focused and productive!

All classes are conducted using audio only, with a strong focus on speaking, listening and rapid improvement

I've got some great news, dear students! I am now an award-winning comedy writer. 
My sitcom, In the Spotlight, has won the award for best webisode of 2020, 
at the Fort Worth Indie Film Showcase. 

I'm looking forward to welcoming new students who wish to improve their writing skills and become more eloquent speakers and composers of a wide range of literature. 

This class is ideal for you if you would like help with writing essays, articles, blog posts or even Instagram posts in English.  Just get in touch with your requests and I'll see if I can help you. 

As a published author and magazine feature writer, I love helping others to hone and perfect their writing. I have several years of writing experience and I love playing with words and helping others to express themselves well when speaking and writing in English. 

As well as being a writer, I am a qualified TEFL teacher and I also have a PGCE and qualified teacher status here in the UK. 

If you book this service, we'll work together in each lesson, using Skype audio and google documents to evaluate, discuss and make stylistic and grammatical changes to your work. I'll help you to construct sentences full of expression and meaning, and to produce work of a standard you can be proud of, whatever your writing needs may be. 

If English is your second or third language, I know it isn't always easy to be sure that your writing will even make logical sense to a native English speaker! Let's read through your work together and make any necessary changes that will help you to present your ideas in the best possible light, for academic, literary or business purposes.
