In this trial lesson, I will be able to get to know you better, your goals, and what your current level is. We will also have some conversation practice, where I will be able to assess your level.
Then, I will outline what I have in mind for the next few lessons.

In this class, we will practice English speaking and listening skills. This is a more relaxed lesson where we can talk about anything that interests you. I teach any level and will provide gentle corrections when it is appropriate.

General Conversation Practice ADULTS ANY LEVEL

Welcome to English literature!
In this class, we will read sections and discuss a variety of English literature. This will be targeting your reading, comprehension, and conversation skills, as you express yourself and your opinions. 

 We will look at modern and classical prose or poetry, relevant to your level.

We will analyse themes, character development, phrasing and meaning and discuss our opinions based on these elements.

This is not a video lesson. I will return the completed document as soon as possible.

500 words or less: 1 x 30 min lesson

In this class, we will look at English writing skills.

First, I will assess your writing level by assigning you a short piece of writing before our lesson. This can be a paragraph talking about yourself and what your goals are. 

Next, we will look through this writing together and discuss your strengths and weaknesses. We will create a plan together to help you improve your writing. 

Creative Writing:
The process will work in a similar way. I will ask you to provide a writing sample before our first lesson. This can be a poem, a short story, or just a personal expression explaining your goals and aspirations. We will then look at your strengths and weaknesses and create a plan for our future lessons.

We will look at grammar, spelling, synonyms, and creative writing techniques. This class can help you expand your vocabulary, learn more about poetry and creative writing, as well as improve your overall English.
