I think the biggest change /trend in payment transactions over the last 10 years in China is the growth of cashless payment. Nowadays, we have more than 5 e-payment platforms that people can choose from; they are all convenient to use and differ in the financial service they provide. Cashless payment has many good points /advantages: decreased crime ; decreased disease transmission through handling cash; decreased counterfeit money transmission... Considering the benefits a cashless society has brought, I appreciate this change a lot. It makes life easier for most people. It causes inconvenience for the elderly, the biggest problem is the difficulties they have to adapt to new technology, even though it seems simple for [everyone else] /most people. I think we should still keep the traditional way /method for [someone] /those who [don't embrace] /are unable to change; it is best to give people a choice.

Cashlessness has many good points: decreasing the crime rate; decreasing disease transmission through hands; decreasing counterfeit money transmission... Considering the benefits a cashless society has brought to us, I appreciate this change a lot. It just makes life easier for most people. However it can cause inconvenience for the elderly. The biggest problem is the difficulties some of them might have adapting to a new technology, even one that tends to be simple for most people. I think we should still keep the traditional way as an option for someone who don't embrace change. It is best is to give people choice.
