My brain is always spinning with my daughter’s confusing behavior. Today, I bought a watermelon, and cut it into two halves, one for Isabella, one for me. Usually, we spoon up flesh from the watermelon and eat it. But Isabella took out several containers, a mug, a bowl, and a cup. She spooned out some flesh, divided it into the containers, and waited the liquid flow out of the flesh. By doing that, she spilled the sticky water everywhere. Why couldn’t she just eat it in a normal and clearer way?

Perhaps she is experimenting. Children love to learn through experimentation.

Usually, we spoon out the flesh from the watermelon and eat it. But Isabella took out
several containers, a mug, a bowl, and a cup. (so she had six or seven different things?) She spooned out some flesh,
divided it into the containers, and waited for the juice to flow out of the flesh. (Why would it flow out?) By
doing that, she spilled the sticky water everywhere. Why couldn’t she just eat
it in a normal and cleaner way?
Ask her!

My brain is always (constantly) spinning with my daughter’s confusing behavior. Today, I
bought a watermelon, and cut it into two halves, one for Isabella, one for me. Usually, we spoon out the flesh from the watermelon and eat it. But Isabella took out several containers, a mug, a bowl, and a cup. She spooned out some flesh,
divided it into the containers, and waited (why would she do this, do you know) for the liquid to flow out of the flesh. When doing that, she spilled the sticky juice everywhere. Why couldn’t she just eat it in a normal (typical) and clearer (straightforward) way?
Normal is relative 😄 what is normal for me isn’t normal for you and what’s normal for Isabella is clearly not normal for you.
