Yes, I have to sort waste separately in my home because there are four types of garbage in Japan. Nonconvertible, convertible, resources waste, large things. Different types of garbage are collected by garbage track on different days. Also, we can recycle pet bottles and plastic trays, whenever I go to supermarket, I bring them so we don't have to stuck them in our house. I think we have to do it as much as possible to protect our planet

Nonconvertible, convertible, resources waste, large things. >> non-recycable, recyable, green waste. "Large things" may be called large trash, oversized items/garbage/trash, bulky waste, etc.

Yes, I have to sort waste separately at home, because there are four types of garbage in Japan. Nonconvertible, convertible, resource waste and large things. Different types of garbage are collected by garbage trucks on different days. Also, we can recycle PET bottles and plastic trays, so whenever I go to the supermarket, I take them with me so we don't have to be stuck with them at home. I think we have to do it as much as possible to protect our planet
Hi Sayuri. When we talk about our house we simply say "home" - we don't need to say "my". We would use "in" to talk about our physical location in a building. "At home" is talking aobut the general place where you live. "Resource" is an adjective here, and they are never plural. PET is the initials for that type of plastic, so it needs to be in capitals. Your pronunciation is quite good in the recording. Keep practicing! Simon.
