What do you think of tea? Do you often drink tea?

Hi, as you know Chinese like to drink tea very much and almost drink it everyday.
My friend from Europe told me some people from her country only drink tea when they are sick.
Does the people from your country likes tea?
Green tea, black tea, white tea or flower tea?
Thanks for your considering and reading :)

In the UK and Ireland, most people drink tea, usually several times a day, whether we're ill or not. Here is a song about it:

I like a nice cup of tea in the morning
For to start the day you see
And at half past eleven
Well my idea of heaven
Is a nice cup of tea
I like a nice cup of tea with my dinner
And a nice cup of tea with my tea
And when it's time for bed
There's a lot to be said
For a nice cup of tea

Ordinary tea in the UK is what you would call 'black tea', made from a blend of teas of Indian, Ceylonese or African origin. Most people drink it relatively strong compared with other countries, and usually with milk.

Tea in Europe looks the same as tea in the British Isles, but in fact it is a completely different thing. European tea - the kind which your friend drinks when ill - is very weak and watery, and only suitable for invalids! Most of the British people I know who live in Europe fill their suitcases with 'proper' British tea whenever they come home to visit, because it's impossible to get 'proper tea' on the Continent!

My first act after getting up in the morning is to put the kettle on for a pot of [English Breakfast] tea, a good 'wake-up' blend.  In the afternoon, if I am at home, I make a pot of Darjeeling tea [sometimes called the 'Champagne of teas'], and after dinner I sometimes make Earl Grey tea, with its distinctive flavour of oil of Bergamot.

I never add sugar which, as Orwell says, would destroy the flavour, but I do add milk.

My family is a blend of three cultures (Texan/American, Peruvian, Canadian)

In Immediate family, we drink coffee in the morning, black tea in the afternoon, and Green Tea the rest of the day. With guest, we serve coffee for dessert anytime of day; except while in Canada, we serve black tea instead of coffee. When I am in Peru, I drink coffee in the morning and Mate (Tea) the rest of the day. Many of my friends drink Tea and coffee differently.
