I personally think that frequency of having a meal is only part of good healthy diet. And it should be combined with the amount, quality and variety of food you consume. And of course, one must take into consideration the special, unique features of one's organism. You may eat normal portions 3 times a day. Or you may eat smaller portions 5 times a day. For some people due to certain circumstances 2 times is enough. But as I've mentioned choosing this or that pattern also implies choosing proper amount and certain products for every meal.
