I don't know about the other age groups, but I feel that the people who are around my age group (15-25) tend to like America, or at least not have a negative opinion about it. I think most people feel it hard to discern what kind of country it is, due to its diversity. Many people have an image of America being the big country where people have the freedom to do what they like, wear whatever they like and not care about what other people wear, and use guns. The culture is very popular, too. Disney is incredibly loved by the girls especially.

As vnots says above, I have also seen some people (but not many) who hate the country, too, mostly because they are very into politics and are bemoaning the state of the country under the dominating power of the US.

And I like your picture :) The colors are also so soft and attractive

From the things I've watched it seems fifty-fifty some of them LOVE it some of them hate it and this is do to our complex relationship with them. People who are more into politics and history etc. tend to view america more negatively people who view america more positively tend to like our culture, movies, and music. The thing I've noticed is that the Japanese do seem to have a great interest in america. On the video site nico douga their are a lot more videos about us then their are about other countries. If you go to japan though, however, they'll probably treat you very kindly regardless of their opinion of our country.
