En Argentina usamos diferentes palabras y la acentuacion que usamos es diferente. Alla se trata mucho de "usted" aca se trata de "vos". La palabra que caracteriza a los argentinos es el "CHE" que lo usamos casi siempre cuando iniciamos una conversacion "che todo bien? che que contas? como andas che?" Lo que dice natali no es del todo correcto nosotros pronunciamos la "LL" como una "SH"
And we don't sound like italians! Here in Argentina there's a tv show from brasil translated into spanish for mexicans, and there is one argentinian in the show that has been translated with an italian accent and to us it sounds awfully ridiculous! haha!

The differences people have pointed out here sound more or less accurate to me, although there is a form of voseo used in southeastern Mexico as well. I am pretty sure there are important dialectal variations within each country that should not be swept under the rug of generalization. More importantly, regardless of dialectal differences, in my experience Argentinean and Mexican Spanish are highly mutually intelligible.
and you have to take into account that the argentineans use "voseo type III" :D
