Essay for FCE – Which are the most important subjects for young people to study at school and why?

Studying at school can provide a person a lot of knowledge and important information for his development as a person in a world with a lot of opportunities and ways of being.

I think that there is not just an one important subject at school, because we can find a lot of subjects, and each subject will offer you a lot of possibilities and thoughts ideas that for one person will be important, and for another person won’t be as important as another subject.

In my opinion, each subject has its advantages, depending on the person. But, firstly, I want to say that every subject is important, and we should know at least a bit of every subject that we study at school. <em>(a little repetitive - you have already said this)</em>

Having that on in mind, subjects such  as maths or science could be the most important for a person who wants to be a doctor, a scientific scientist or something like that. On the other hand, history or a foreign language could be more important for someone who wants to have a great knowledge in order to be a teacher.

As a In conclusion, I can say that there are not subjects that are more important than others. I think that each person should be focus its  his <em>(this is considered by some to be a little old-fashioned and some prefer his/her and others even accept their</em> )effort in learning each subject as if it were the most important of inthe world, and from that point, the person could choose the subjects that best fits best his mind and his interests.
