Colloquial speach... How to say "Anyway..." "Moving on..." in Tagalog? Second question of the day, much simplier ^_^ How to say "Anyway..." in Tagalog? Example: "You said earlier that you didn't want to come, so why are you here...? Anyway, it's a pleasure to have you on board". Sometimes in conversations with friends, I want to write something like "anyway...", a short expression to move to a different subject or to treat of a related idea. Any equivalent in Tagalog? If not, anything that resemble it? Salamat nang maaga.

"Gayunpaman/ magpagayunpaman/ gayon pa man" all mean the same and can be used interchangeably. "You said earlier that you didn't want to come, so why are you here...? Anyway, it's a pleasure to have you on board". Sinabi/sabi mo kanina na ayaw mo pumunta, (eh) bakit ka nandito...? Gayunpaman, masaya ako na nakasama ka." Note: "on board" is an an English idiomatic expression which doesn't have direct translation in Tagalog. :) Here's another example: "Ayaw niya ng gulay at hindi siya kumakain ng baboy. Gayunpaman, ano nga ba yung sinasabi mo kanina?" = "He doesn't like veggies and he doesn't eat pork. Anyway, what were you saying earlier?" ^_^
