What does "work the stage" mean? And why do you say "work the stage", "work the phones(does it mean to answer the calls?????)", "work theBOOTH "? but "work ON a checkout"? ("Work the stage" means she is a dancer. The Golden Nugget is a club in Las Vegas - I think they are making fun of her. The stuff that was 'put up' was 'the Sedona shoot from October' (the pictures taken at/by/with/featuring 'Sedona' (whatever that is)). What does "have" mean here? The secretary is holding the phone. She is 'holding' the person that is calling. She 'has' Miranda Priestly calling.
