Are you looking for something? or Are you looking for anything?
Scenario:
I was searching my keys and made the room very messy.
Then my girlfriend came in and (a little angrily) asked me: Are you looking for ****thing?
SOME or ANY?
Just in case it's "something":
In horror movies, people ask "are you feeling/hearing/seeing anything?".
Then why 'anything' is this case? What's the difference to the "are you looking for something?"
