Both are the same. We use laki-laki for conversation and gender status.
As for "lelaki", it's more formal, written language that you may often see it in Indonesian literature, but we don't use lelaki to write gender status.

Lelaki dan laki-laki menurut Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia (KKBI) artinya sama. Tetapi ada beberapa kalimat yang tidak bisa menggunakan kedua"nya.
Seperti: saudara laki-laki, bukan saudara lelaki.

Both have same meaning. But we rarely use lelaki, usually laki-laki. Lelaki is the type of word you always use in novel, poem, or something like that

both of them are correct according to KBBI (Indonesian Official Bahasa Dictionary).
ex:
1. lelaki itu bernama Andi.
2. laki-laki itu bernama Andi.
the first and second example have the same meaning. hopefully it helps :)

Well, they have the same meaning, only what make it different is that "laki-laki is plural" and "lelaki, is singular" hope it help you [emoji][emoji]
