whisk its tail I have read a sentence"The pig whisk its tail" but I looked up at the dictionary and found "whisk" means " to mix liquid, eggs etc very quickly so that air is mixed in, using a fork or a whisk " or "to take someone or something quickly away from a place". I guess " whisk" here is similar to "filck". "whisk its tail",is this expression correct?

Yes you are right. It is an example of 'literary license'. My colleague Allan and I made a video in response to your question. Have a look: https://youtu.be/xS23mwR1mVg

Hi, it's possibly not the most common choice of word ('wag' might be more common), but yes you can use 'whisk' in the sense of moving very quickly in a circular motion. In the way that you do when you whisk an egg or mixture of food. 'Flick' is one rapid movement in one direction, so a bit different to 'whisk'. By the way, in your example sentence the verb in 3rd person should be 'whisks' (or 'whisked' if the sentence is in the past tense).
