Certified language teacher with over 10 years of teaching experiences I think the most important quality as a teacher is the ability to encourage learners. Learning a language is not always easy and there are ups and downs. And it requires quite a bit of efforts and dedication. I believe that a good teacher makes learning more pleasant even when learners bump into obstacles, and makes them feel comfortable and relaxed so that they can speak without feeling nervous. So I try to be a good listener. I also try to make each class fun and helpful with lots of preparation.

My goal, when I start learning any language is to get to a conversational level as soon as possible so that learning can become automatic (through talking with native speakers, watching authentic videos, and learning from authentic materials).
