I've been teaching French since 2013 to students from diverse ages, cultures and levels. I have been a french teacher in the Alliance Française of Gainesville (Florida) for two years. After that, I gave particular lessons. Then, I've been working in french junior high schools, teaching french to kids . I've been teaching on Italki since 2020 and I have students that I see every week since 5 years and it's always a pleasure to see them and help them improve their french skill. When a class is scheduled, it is part of my weekly plan and I get ready for it. I conduct a detailed journal of what I have been doing with my student, I write down every session, thus it is easy for me to check what we did on our previous sessions. I used to teach more conventionally, meaning with my students being in the same room as me. In 2021 I started using Skype for my classes (I now conduct my lessons on Teams) and things work out very well. I am always punctual as I respect the time my students take for our lessons, likewise I do appreciate if my students do the same.

To me it is very important to adapt myself to the student, and to taylor the lesson to their needs. Personally i love input based learning, and learning words and new grammatical structures in context, using stories dialogues, and keeping things fresh and interesting. Pour moi, c'est très important de m'adapter à l'élève et de personnaliser le cours en fonction de ses besoins. Personnellement, j’aime l’apprentissage basé sur l’exposition à la langue, et l’acquisition de nouveaux mots et structures grammaticales en contexte, en utilisant des histoires, des dialogues, en gardant les leçons dynamiques et intéressantes.
