Eu acredito que aprender uma língua é como nadar. Aprende-se fazendo. Não há sentido em aprender um monte de regras de gramática se você não praticá-las em uma conversação real. É por isso que nas minhas aulas eu ensino não apenas gramática e vocabulário, mas também crio situações nas quais meus alunos podem usar as estruturas novas. I believe that learning a language is like learning how to swim. You can only learn it if you do it. There's no use learning lots of grammar rules if you can't practice them in a real conversation. That's why in my lessons I teach not only grammar and vocabulary, but I also create situations in which my students will be able to use the structures we see.

Juriste francophone ayant remporté et participé à plusieurs concours d'éloquence. Je suis Philippe, juriste et francophone depuis ma naissance. Cela fait donc plusieurs décennies que je parle et communique en français. Entre 2013 et 2016, j’ai également été enseignant dans une université de langue, la première créée dans mon pays, le Togo. J'ai également participé et remporté plusieurs concours d’éloquence, dont les Joutes Verbales Francophones (2016) et le concours de simulations des élections présidentielles américaines au Togo (2017). Apprendre le français, c'est aussi, en plus de maitriser les mots, embrasser l'histoire et la culture de différents peuples. Ce que je propose donc est un voyage avec plusieurs destinations dans différentes cultures. Je ne suis pas adepte des méthodes d'enseignement classiques consistant à enfermer l'apprenant dans une salle de classe et à lui faire accepter toute idée. Je serai comme un guide aidant l'apprenant à découvrir langue et en tomber amoureux. Pour moi, un cours peut commencer par une actualité, une vidéo, une présentation ou encore une curiosité.
