I come from a country, Switzerland, where there are three national languages and where confrontation with other languages than one's own is something that is integrated in one's daily life and in the culture in general. I lived in Berlin for a while and gave several german and french lessons during my studies in Paris. I am very patient, very calm, and I will encourage you to speak. I find that this is the best way to realize that you can master a language by correcting your mistakes.
