Más de 17 años de experiencia I never thought that teaching could be the right job for me, but - here I am - seventeen years and around a thousand of students later. At some point, I realised that teaching had become a passion. My professional experience before italki was focused mainly on exam preparation both in English (e.g. Cambridge, Trinity) and German (Goethe Institut, telc) and included - apart from the usual group and individual, intensive and regular courses - level-testing and organising mock exams. For several years, I also worked as an English examiner and corrector at one of the universities in Spain. I hold a C2 Certificate in Spanish (DELE).

I have two and half years of English teaching experience in a private school for adults aged mostly between 18 and 30 years, so I can offer a safe calm learning environment, I like to focus on grammar and I believe it's the key to learning a new language. I'm very patient, which, I believe, is a quality any teacher must have, so my students can speak freely with utter confident and no fear of judgment or embarrassment, and I encourage them to make mistakes so we get to know their weak spots, and guide them so they never make the same mistake twice.

In our classes, we can focus on your personal needs, for example, vocabulary, grammar, speaking skills, writing skills - literally, anything you need help with and anything you want to improve. During our first class, we will get to know each other, you will tell me how and where you studied English or Russian before, I will help you set a goal and I will work out a personalized study plan for you that we will follow. I’m convinced that speaking is the most important aspect of leaning a language, because initially we start learning a language in order to communicate with people, to get to know their culture so during our classes we will pay the most attention to the speaking part.
