Ho la sensazione che si possa imparare moltissimo mescolando le tipologie di materiali: video, audio, testi ecc. e assegnando anche regolarmente compiti, in modo che lo studente si senta coinvolto anche quando non è a lezione. Imparare una lingua secondo me è: parlare, interagire, scrivere, ascoltare, fare esercizi e stimolare il più possibile il nostro cervello. Lo dico per esperienza, parlo spagnolo e inglese, quindi so cosa vuol dire mettersi in gioco e imparare una nuova lingua.

Nelle mie lezioni seguo sempre il ritmo e le capacità di apprendimento dei miei studenti, ma credo che sia altrettanto importante fare un ripasso e tornare su argomenti già studiati in passato. Oltre all'utilizzo dei classici manuali, vorrei spaziare partendo, ad esempio, in ambito orale, con la spiegazione di alcuni vocaboli ed espressioni di base, per poi continuare con letture di articoli, parti di libri, testi di canzoni e curiosità in ambito culturale. Il tutto verrà concordato con lo studente, sempre tenendo conto di quelle che sono le sue esigenze e competenze linguistiche. Sono molto paziente e ci tengo a creare un ambiente di scambio che metta lo studente a proprio agio.
