Hi! My name is Dylan and I am from Cape Town, South Africa.
I am an ESL teacher passionate about helping people achieve their language learning goals. I am keenly interested in meeting people from different parts of the world to experience different cultures and discover the beauty of this world. During my journey as a teacher, I have met people from across the world and it is an absolute joy to help them improve their English and learn about their lives, culture and country.

I believe that the most effective way for someone to improve their spoken English is through general conversations. As a teacher, I tend to build a rapport with students and discover their hobbies and interests to incorporate them into lessons. This makes it a fun and relatable learning experience. I assess the language level of my students through these conversations and look for core areas that the student needs to improve on such as grammar and pronunciation. Valuable feedback is something I firmly believe in giving and as a person I also love to receive valuable feedback from students.Minhas aulas e estilo de ensino
During my lessons, I focus purely on the student's primary needs. I generally have a question-and-answer structure in order to maximize conversations and assess language skills. However, I am flexible and open to trying other methods on students' requests. I generally initiate the conversations and correct grammar and pronunciation throughout the lesson. I also focus on widening the range of the student's vocabulary by incorporating various topics in the conversation.Meu material de ensino

My 10 y.o. daughter loves to talk to Dylan. There's a good chance she might even think he's one of the coolest people she'd met because--spoiler alert--apparently he has a pet FERRET))
Like all the other people already said: patient and polite, great conversationalist. Just what Zoe needed for English speaking practice and we are lucky, if not privileged, to be able to enlist his help.

I have been learn English with Dylan for more than four months, and he realy is a very nice teacher. During the past four months, Dylan always listens to me patiently, helps me correct my miskakes. With his help, both my listening and speaking English improved a lot.I will continue learning English with him, and improving my English to a higher level.
