What's up? I'm Tommy With nearly a decade of experience in one-on-one Vietnamese tutoring, I bring both passion and expertise to each lesson. I hold a degree in Teaching and Translation from a respected university in Vietnam and have completed a Tourism and Travel course in Canada, which allows me to connect with people from around the world on a deeper level. Another great lesson with Tommy, easing into the lesson with a review of material covered last time, patient correction of my forgetfulness and struggling pronunciation, lots of encouragement, flexibility to let me try making some off-topic sentences, and a nice quiz and recap at the end. I had a lot of fun talking in Vietnamese about various topics (today food in particular), taking turns asking questions. It was very helpful when you helped write the new words I was learning in the chat for me to save, and I like how you asked me to read different passages or practice answering questions to figure out what I know and don't know yet :)
