I am a professional TESOL qualified English teacher from the UK with 11 years of classroom experience and more than 8 years of online teaching experience. I enjoy working in all aspects of English, including exam preparation (IELTS and CAMBRIDGE EXAMS) for students of all levels.
I'm originally from Reading in the southeast of England but have been living in Italy for several years with my husband and two sons. I live in a beautiful little town in the centre of the country called Rieti which is only 60 km from Rome.
I enjoy many things but most of all blue skies and sunny days, walking in the mountains, reading and of course, Netflix:)Minha atuação como professor
Describing myself as a teacher, I would say that I’m very patient, motivated and flexible. I offer experience, guidance, and support to help students towards their individual goals. I offer a wide selection of lessons so that you can choose and focus on specific areas of the language. Target areas include exam preparation, (IELTS and CAMBRIDGE EXAMS,) speaking, grammar, pronunciation, and business.
It’s important that classes are relaxed, comfortable and are enjoyable as well as fruitful. I offer a flexible approach which means that I’ll customize, adapt and provide lessons to meet individual needs. I offer feedback, corrections, and suggestions throughout the lesson and welcome feedback from students so that we can work together to provide a beneficial lesson every time.Meu material de ensino

Clair helps me to improve all areas of my English. Our lessons are always well structured. Clair pays extra attention to those aspects with which I have particular difficulties. Claire is very attentive and always provides the necessary feedback. I get a lot of pleasure from our classes, they involve me in overcoming challenges and make me think in English. I have had very good experiences learning with Clair. She is an excellent teacher – supportive and patient. She provides feedback every time you make a mistake without interrupting when you speak. The courses are also very flexible. She prepares for every upcoming lesson and sends you learning materials, but the lesson topics can be adjusted depending on your needs. I recommended her to my sister too. I'm very confident in saying that she is the best English teacher I've ever met.
