1999-2006 - I taught in Yokohama.
2007-2021 - I taught in the Bay Area of California.
2021- Currently, I'm teaching in Yokohama online.
I love traveling and wine🍷. I love watching drama and anime, especially SPY×FAMILY and Demon Slayer. I love interacting with people around the world. My teaching uses materials based on the "Marugoto," "Genki," "Irodori," etc for beginnings. Still, I combine other materials for more practice and to be able to understand what kind of situation to use. Use Drama and Anime for the upper beginners.

I've been taking some lessons with Rika to prepare for my trip to Japan. The lessons were nicely customized around activities I was planning to do, and the study material was helpful for me to practice outside of lessons. I feel a lot better equipped to interact with people when I get there.
