Hi,
My name is Magdalena and I'm a language nerd. I don't just teach English and Polish, I also actively learn many other languages every day. I'm originally from Poland (Katowice) but as I currently live and teach in Italy, I get to speak Italian every day and so, after English and Polish, this is my strongest language at the moment. I'm also at a conversational level in French, Esperanto and German and a beginner in Portuguese, Ukrainian and Persian. There are at least ten other languages I would love to learn, so it's really hard for me to stick to the ones listed above!Minha atuação como professor
Since I'm constantly learning languages myself, I continuously try new methods and techniques and can share with you those that work best. I love technology so I like to test and modify new solutions to help you get the most out of your lessons!

The way our lessons will be structured will depend on why you're taking them. Whenever possible, I like to loosely follow a textbook to give you some structure and a straightforward framework that helps you see your progress. We will not, however, go through every exercise as specified in the book but, rather, adapt it to suit your particular needs. I'll also guide you on how to work outside the lessons. In my experience, students who see the best improvements are those who put in a small, but regular, effort when not in class. I'll have exercises for you after every lesson and, if we share a language, personalised flashcards (or I'll guide you on how to make them yourself if we don't).Meu material de ensino

EFL TeacherFor the past two years, I have been teaching English as a foreign language to Italian students of all ages and levels. The school where I teach specialises in individual and group Cambridge exam preparation courses so most of my students went on to take Starters, Movers, Flyers, KET, PET, FCE, CAE, or IELTS.

Substitute TeacherFor three and a half years I was taking care of and teaching young children (up to the age of 6) at an English-medium crèche with a high percentage of pupils coming from different linguistic backgrounds. This provided me with a lot of opportunities to witness language acquisition both in monolingual and multilingual children.

I'm now approaching two years of Polish lessons with Magdalena, and have enjoyed every single lesson -- it's been a joy to learn with someone who is fun, kind, and comes prepared with meticulous lesson plans every time (whether via textbooks, songs, or memes). I have never had a bad lesson with Magdalena. She is consistently patient and always gives me time to try remember what I'd like to say without telling me first. She is encouraging and positive, and even makes learning difficult concepts seem approachable. She is very supportive, always knowing when to offer help when I need it. She is excellent at explaining difficult language concepts with very easy words. I learn very easily and quickly, because of the supportive atmosphere she creates in her lessons. One of the best!

Magdalena is the teacher I had been looking a long time for. Can't speak highly enough regarding her comprehensive approach to learning Polish. Always prepared with different teaching strategies/homework/classwork etc. Would recommend her to anyone looking to improve their Polish!!
