I'm 28 and currently live with my partner in the beautiful Alps of France. I'm a third-year Computer Science student at the Open University of Israel and work as a data analyst. Language learning is one of my biggest passions—I started with Spanish at 14 and now speak five languages (Hebrew, English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese) while studying three more (Norwegian, German, and Arabic).
Recently, I've been diving into the fields of entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, and personal economy, always looking to expand my knowledge and skills. In our lessons, my top priority is to create a comfortable space where you can learn and grow. I encourage you to make mistakes—it’s a natural part of the process and a great way to improve! I love using a mix of activities, like music, reading, and friendly conversations, to make each class engaging and fun. I’m open to your suggestions and enjoy exploring any topics that spark your interest, keeping each lesson fresh and tailored to you.

I tailor my lessons based on your level. For beginners, we’ll focus on essentials—grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation—using tools like short stories, vocab lists, images, and music. Whenever possible I like to add the historical or cultural context before diving into practice.
For intermediate and advanced learners, lessons are conversation-based, focused on topics you’d like to improve. We’ll start with small talk, then use materials like articles, videos, or songs to guide our discussion. Some lesson examples include debates, song analysis, or article discussions to deepen language and cultural understanding.Meu material de ensino

I’ve had several lessons with Bar across two accounts and cannot recommend him enough. He always comes prepared to the class with creative ideas for us to delve into deeper discussions, develop my vocabulary and is proactive in correcting my mistakes.
He is also a good laugh and has a great sense of humour. He creates an environment which is comfortable so that we can talk tangentially about things related to our discussions, make jokes, and is always open to feedback on scheduling/lesson approaches (no criticisms so far).
Wholly satisfied with my learning experience and intend to continue with lessons as long as I am able.

On first appearance, Bar is quiet, but he is actually quite playful and friendly once the lesson starts revving up. He is very strategic with how you should improve in your studies, providing gameplay and critique in just the right manner to encourage you to improve. I highly recommend Bar for anyone wanting to dip their toes into the water and immerse themselves in Hebrew study :).
