Hello and welcome!
My name is Kae and I’m a qualified English teacher with thousands of hours of teaching experience. I have a Trinity College London TESOL qualification and I have previously worked for a number of big companies including GABA, AEON, and Palfish.
I’m originally from the UK and I currently live in France where I work as an online English Teacher for children and adults. I love cooking, making my own clothes, reading and travelling. I try to go to Japan every year to see the summer firework festivals.
Learning a new language can be challenging, and I hope to inspire my students to never give up!

In my eleven years as an English teacher I have worked in a number of areas, including business English, kids classes, listening skills, job application and interview practice, and of course conversation classes.
I’ve even written a book on strategies for learning English and overcoming common difficulties and I’d be happy to share my expertise with you.

As a language learner myself—I study Japanese and French—I’m patient and understanding. Don’t worry if it takes you a long time to learn a new word or if there’s a piece of grammar you can never remember ^^ I want my students to both work hard and enjoy themselves!
I always take notes for my students to study after class!

The lesson was for my 8 y/o boy and 6 y/o daughter, without any English basic foundation.
She can recognize the proficiency and kids characteristics quickly and found suitable materials for them in a custom made format. Surprised that she has so well prepared for such new kids. She also tried to put my kids in an interactive manner so that they communicate with the teacher without me.
I instantly decided to keep going with her, thank you Kae!

Kae is an experienced and professional teacher, she helped me to prepare for my job interview.
We looked into all the possible interview questions and practice for how to approach those. I feel more confident and ready for the interview after our session.
