Kyrylo Perederii

The Ukrainian language is deep and beautiful. Kyrylo speaks fluent English, Russian, and Turkish, so he can contextualize the language of the Ukrainian steppe and understands Ukrainian’s uniqueness. Part of Ukrainian’s depth is in its uniqueness and ancientness as the heir to medieval Kyiv Rus. Kyrylo is a Masters degree student at the best university in Kyiv studying language and literature. He lives that depth of Ukrainian that exists in its folk traditions, musical lyrics, steppe inheritance, and world-class literature of highest art. But the beauty of language depends on a poetic sensibility, to evoke and articulate the personality of a language as it brings contours to the world. Some people have that poetic gift and some don’t. Kyrylo does.

Kyrylo is very patient, he explains to me very clearly and we do exercises together and through the exercises he helps me very well to understand better. I like his classes a lot and have taken quite some classes with him and will take a lot more!

Kyrylo's lessons are the best. I love studying Ukrainian with him because he is kind, patient, and he explains everything so thoroughly. Also, with Kyrylo, we can take a deep dive into Ukrainian culture; he's open to exploring any topic I bring up, which could be phonetics, music lyrics, or cyrillic calligraphy. He can speak on a wide variety of topics. I'd highly recommend him!!!
