I always have so much fun with Tomoko-san! Today we learned about Japanese culture while practicing. I appreciate that Tomoko-san is always prepared for our lessons with material that is appropriate for my level. Tomoko-san is very patient with me, even when I get stuck. I am a more confident speaker thanks to Tomoko-san!

Tomoko-san always comes prepared for each lesson with material suitable for my level. I appreciate that Tomoko-san helps me understand each topic before moving on to the next one. Today we reviewed an article, I got to practice reading, we did verb conjugation and I learned more about Japanese culture! Lessons with Tomoko-san are fun!

Tomoko-san was very patient with me even though I was a bit rusty! I appreciate that Tomoko-san takes time to make sure I understand a new word, phrase or concept before moving on to the next topic. Tomoko-san is always prepared for lessons! Tomoko-san always encourages me to do my best.

Tomokoさん helped me with the Causative form and it was a really good experience learning grammar in her style. She was prepared with textbook materials, scenarios, and drills to help me understand the pattern of the conjugation. Tomokoさん made me feel safe when making mistakes and is a very encouraging teacher. I’m happy with the work we did today.

This was my first italki trial lesson so I didn’t know what to expect, but Tomoko led the lesson very professionally. She was able to guide the conversation well and was very encouraging while assessing the language level I’m at. She was very helpful with finding the words I mean to say and explaining different words and grammar points. I’m very happy with how this first lesson turned out.
