VIKAS TIWARI

This was an excellent lesson as always. We covered a lot in the lesson and revised how to express should/must/need. Vikas started to teach me how to form past tense sentences. I am really looking forward to learning more. Vikas is an excellent teacher and I really recommend that you take lessons with him if you are interested in learning Hindi.

This was another excellent lesson with Vikas. We covered a lot in the lesson - discussing my day and Christmas traditions in the UK, going over my homework on the present continuous tense, learning how to say ‘can/could’ in Hindi and doing some further reading practice. I am really enjoying these lessons and I feel that I am making rapid progress with Vikas’s expert help and encouragement. Looking forward to the next lesson!

This was another excellent lesson with Vikas. We revised the present tense and I practised using lots of verbs, including some new ones. Vikas also introduced me to some new structures and the object forms of personal pronouns, so that I can talk about what I like and express possession in Hindi. We then spent the last part of the lesson on reading practice with the Devanagari script. Vikas explains everything very clearly and I’m amazed by the progress I’ve made in just three lessons with him. I’m looking forward to the next lesson soon! धन्यवाद!

As always this was a wonderful lesson with Vikas. He’s a brilliant teacher and I recommend him to anyone thinking of learning or practising Hindi.

Once again this was a truly wonderful lesson with Vikas. We started with a chat in basic Hindi and then went over my homework which was a story I had translated into Hindi using present tense verbs and lots of new vocabulary. Vikas then got me to translate another story into Hindi in the lesson with some more complex structures. We finished the lesson with some reading practice using the Devanagari script, moving on to words with one or two long 'aa' sounds. I am amazed at how much I am learning with Vikas. He has an excellent method for introducing this beautiful language in a fun and very time-efficient way. I am looking forward to the next lesson!

This was another wonderful Hindi lesson with Vikas! Vikas shared some more basic verbs and I practised forming simple sentences in the present tense. We then moved onto reading practice using Devanagari script. Vikas explained how most of the consonants are grouped by how they are formed in the mouth. This helped me a lot with saying the sounds. I now have a great basis for memorising the alphabet and starting to read Devanagari, as well as for developing good pronunciation. I am looking forward very much to my next lesson with Vikas.
