Yukako

Yukako is an amazing teacher. She is patient and kind and has amazing conversational skills with fantastic English capability. I have been her student for well over a year and have thoroughly enjoyed being her student and learning from her. I look forward to many more lessons and one day being able to have a fully Japanese conversation with her. Thanks for everything you do for me Yukako, I really appreciate it!

Thank you Yukako for the lesson! It’s our first, and I had a great time talking with her. She is very friendly, cheerful, easy-going, and gave a relaxed learning atmosphere. The writing practice has been really helpful. I ended up writing about some things from when I was little, but could never really express it properly in Japanese. She corrected it and we went through it line by line. She taught me some new words and some super convenient conjunctions! I noticed a bunch of N3 grammar that I haven’t started yet, but because of reading practice everything made sense. Where there were subtle differences in meaning that a native speaker would know what I meant but it wasn’t natural she explained these so that I could understand the difference. Yukako Sensei is awesome!

After taking a few lessons from Yukako sensei, I can responsibly say that she’s an excellent Japanese language teacher with so much energy, patience and dedication given in each and every lesson. Regardless of my broken Japanese, she’s always so caring and patient in understanding the conversation and provided the corrections and advices in a way which I could easily understand. Thank you Yukako sensei!

I asked Yukako-sensei to strictly correct every mistake I made immediately, and she did exactly that. She listened carefully and immediately pointed out any errors in grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. I’ve taken lessons with a few other teachers, but not many of them had the same level of patience, attention to detail, or willingness to correct me as Yukako-sensei. I’m really happy with her teaching and how much she helped me improve. If you’re looking for a teacher who will correct you thoroughly and help you progress efficiently, I highly recommend her!
