Each lesson is highly productive and helps me expand my vocabulary by exploring different variations of words with similar meanings.

Even if I’m a beginner, I get to speak a lot of Chinese during class, and make my own sentences and questions with the vocabulary and structures we learn. It’s still the basics, but I can say a lot of things already!

Super first class with Lillian. She's very conscientious and talkative. We had a hilarious time discussing the us-china trade war and tariffs!

Class with Lillian is always fun! You get to use what you're learning right away, and you practice it a lot, so it's easy to remember what you're learning! I am able to speak almost all the class time in Chinese, even as a complete beginner. Lillian is also very great at encouraging and motivating me to practice and try to ask as many questions as I can with what we are learning that day. It's a very comfortable and fun class, and you don't realize you've been learning for an hour, that's how into class you are! Highly recommend Lillian for learning Chinese!

Laoshi Li is a fantastic teacher. We practiced conversation through a realistic scenario, which helped me learn a lot of new vocabulary. I was also able to improve my listening and speaking skills. Thank you!

This is only my second class, and already I'm talking a lot of Chinese! It's simple dialogue (What's your name? Are you Chinese? Are you a teacher), but I'm saying it a lot in class, and by the end I was really confident asking and saying those questions and answers. Lillian teacher does a really great job motivating and encouraging students to try and to speak as much as they can! An hour class goes by so fast, and it's so fun too! I can't wait for my next class!!
