I am a certified Korean language teacher, holding a teaching license from the National Institute of Korean Language. With over 10 years of teaching experience, I’ve helped students from diverse backgrounds, including Korean adoptees while I was in the USA.
As a teacher, I focus on motivation and active learning. I encourage students to think, apply, and solve challenges on their own because I believe hands-on practice leads to better understanding. Byeongho tailored the lesson exactly to my current ability. We talked about what happened in my life last week, and what is happening next week. Every time we encounter a pattern that I am unfamiliar with, we make lots of example sentences. I always leave lessons with Byeongho feeling encouraged and excited about learning Korean.

Whilst my lessons with Byeongho are largely based around a textbook, he's always great with deviating from the textbook if I have any questions about grammar or concepts that I've encountered in my own time. I've been learning from Byeongho for over 2 years now and he's always been empathetic and encouraging. I'm looking forward to learning from Byeongho for the foreseeable future.

Byeongho is a superb teacher. He is able to teach my 11 years old son and engage with him. He is very patient and his lesson is very easy to follow. My son is looking forward to have a weekly lesson with him.
