⚠️ WARNINGS:
▪️ If you have a problem and can't attend the lesson, that's fine. We all have things going on. I'd like an explanation, though. If my students are absent and don't tell me why before, during, or after the lesson, I'll take that as giving up on the lesson, and I won't report a problem.

I have translated mostly legal texts (birth, death, and marriage certificates, divorce judgments, contracts, education documents and diplomas, etc.), technical and scientific texts (in hard sciences, social sciences, and the humanities), and some literary texts (from different authors from English-speaking countries). Tomás is a very good teacher. He is intelligent, kind, and encouraging. I like his willingness to help me improve within the structure of discussing topics that interest me, and I like his way of correcting the things I write. My Spanish is improving from working with him. It’s satisfying to get results from fun lessons which I always look forward to. His fluency in English is useful as well. I’d suggest working with Tomás on Spanish or English to anyone, but I can especially recommend his Spanish lessons to native English speakers.

Really enjoyed this first lesson with Tomás! I'm really insecure and anxious, but he did a great job at offering a comfortable space for me to express myself with the Spanish I already have. Tomas is a nice and considerate teacher. The enjoyment of taking his classes goes beyond language learing and what impresses me more is his insightful opinions on multiple deep topics we discussed, such as education, gender issues, political problems and self-image.
