Our class was very helpful. Penny teaches in a way that is suitable to the student's level, and always is warm and engaging. Highly recommended!

Today we had a conversation practice! I have to pause now and then to come up with words and expression to form a sentence, but no pressure, Pei laoshi is always very patient and will help you say what you want to say or say it better in different ways!

Penny is an amazing teacher. We have classes everyday, she is very patient, she will speak only in Chinese if I ask her. Very focused on my learning experience. Works hard to help me review what I need to review. So far she is the best teacher I've met on italki. Thank you so much penny :D

It quickly became clear to me that Penny DOES NOT prepare for classes. In our classes, she wasted lots of time finding the right materials (sometimes up to 10 minutes, even when we had discussed what we would cover in the class). She did not know the structure of the listening part of the the TOCFL exam. She also relied on free online resources to explain ANY grammar point. Why would I pay for that when I can get it myself? She is unprofessional and I do NOT recommend her.

Lessons with Penny (賀老師) are always engaging and helpful! She is a kind, encouraging and talented teacher who helps students achieve their goals.
