The lesson was perfect. I had been looking for a really good teacher for a long time and was disappointed because I had taken a lot of classes and didn't progress. I finally found one. It's John. Everything I learn during the lesson helps me in my work and I am really satisfied. I learned in the last lesson: "Good things come to those who wait (who seek and are patient)." It's true.

John is a great teacher who is patient, professional and knowledgeable. I’ve taken his IELTS lessons for more than a month and successfully improved my IELTS speaking score from band 5.5 to band 6.5. I’m so grateful!

John is a great teacher. I took emergency IELTS classes from him and in just 9 days (28 classes) he taught me a lot of exam strategies and gave me good advice. We focused on my needs and it really helped! We studied around 3 hours a day but I never got bored because the lessons were so fun and he had a lot of high-quality learning materials. He was prepared and that made me feel more relaxed cause I knew that I found the right teacher for my needs. I know that it's really hard for a teacher to teach the whole IELTS in 9 days but he didn't hesitate and he took the risk with me! I took the test yesterday and if I hadn't studied with John I could've failed it. I haven't received my IELTS results yet but I know that I did well and I'm not stressed about it at all. He's definitely the BEST teacher you can find on italki, I feel so lucky to have a teacher like John and I hope to learn more from him in future!

John is a nice teacher who have taught me for 2 years, he always supports me to speak more and help me amend my pronounce even though i made some mistakes. Learning English is a good way to build up confidence, it encourages me not give up and keep going. While learning, john teachs me not only lessons sentence but also share healthly life and interests and hobby, we can talk about some funny things each other.

I think the majority of advanced learners will encounter same obstacle which is hard to improve more even if you spend a lot of time to learn. John's accent really attracted me and made me to focus on every class. If I recall every class with John,I can find John has a serious attitude towards to every class. He will explain the teaching plan , assign the relevant homework to verify the learning effectiveness,remind you before the class,etc. In addition,John is a very open-hearted person,it seems like talking with a gentleman from UK.Yes.it's true.
