PLEASE NOTE. I do not teach students under the age of 16. I lecture and tutor at an important UK University and have specialist knowledge of IELTS and other Cambridge exams.
I have been travelling the world since I left university in 1986 and currently have visited 53 different countries and lived in six. I have an incredible passion for adventure and communication even at 63 years old. After a successful business career in Europe and Asia, I returned to London to semi-retire and concentrate on Academia and tutoring.Minha atuação como professor
After reading English and Journalism at University I decided to teach as a way of discovering the world. It became my lifetime career. Most teachers have little understanding of their students' cultures, languages, and needs and tend to teach all in a standard method. I know a Chinese or Korean student has vastly different goals to a Peruvian student so I tailor make my courses to focus on the end goal. I am a teacher but that does not mean business success and rewards are unimportant. I have run successful businesses in Europe and the Far East working for world-famous multi-national companies specializing in Marketing, Career Development, HR, CRM, and E.commerce.Minhas aulas e estilo de ensino
There is no such thing as a normal or standard student. Everyone has their own needs and pace. After 30 years I have yet to find a textbook that can be followed page by page, exercise by exercise. Each course is designed specifically for the student or company using resources from life, put together to form a journey of learning English with the arrival point of a precise goal or objective, be it bandscore 7 in IELTS or that promotion to the board of directors. I teach with interest, research, focus and humour. I want my students never to look at their watches until I say the lesson is finished and are surprised it went so quickly.Meu material de ensino

I had a great lesson with Lloyd! He has an excellent teaching style that made the session productive and enjoyable. I particularly appreciated the examples he provided and the way we discussed grammatical rules and pronunciation.

He is a smart teacher and can give me insightful ideas and knowledges usefully regarding the English learning details on precise and native expression, that I have never known before. Because I began realizing my use on many simple words are inaccurate maybe.
