I really can't express enough how fantastic Mohamed is as a teacher. He is exceptionally knowledgeable about my native language (English) which means he can help explain and translate slang/colloquialisms to/from Arabic naturally. He also points out the cultural and linguistic origins of Arabic words and expressions which is fantastic for building a more intuitive and natural foundation in the language. I 100% agree with many of the other comments here - if you want to learn Arabic: Mohamed is the guy!

I highly recommend Mohamed. I have had several lessons and have been able to advance very quickly due to the well structured lessons, conversations in Arabic, homework assignments, and great encouragement. This was my first lesson, and it was very good. Mohamed clearly cares a lot about the language and is very well-informed about it, since he could immediately explain things in depth that were beyond the scope of the content we were dealing with. It's very important for me to get a deep understanding of everything I learn, and not just memorize things in a disconnected way. Not every teacher is capable of fulfilling that need, but Mohamed is, so I will definitely stick with him and I highly recommend him to anyone.

ustaz mohamed ismael is the best arabic tutor. i have been doing weekly lessons for over a month and its a great value. i am Egyptian American and our lessons help me to feel confident responding in arabic in my daily life. im learning a lot about how words and phrases are used conversationally and how to express myself. talking to him is fun and comfortable. i never feel shy to ask him questions if im unsure of my understanding. we cover a lot of interesting topics like movies and shows, politics, religion and philosophy, our personal lives. the interesting lessons and assignments make learning the language less intimidating. hes very responsive and helpful and gives great feedback and encouragement. he understands english very well and is good at translating the essence of what ur trying to say.
