✨ My name is Anna Szakács and I'm a native Hungarian speaker. I was born and I grew up in Debrecen, Hungary but currently I live in France. I had already lived in Italy and Ireland as well: I worked as an au pair in Italy and I did my university studies in Ireland.
🎓 I studied languages and cultures (French, Italian and English) at University College Cork so I know from first-hand experience the challenges of language learning and I'm ready to help you overcome any difficulties that you might experience with Hungarian.
🌍 In my free time, I like reading, writing posts for my blog, doing yoga, drinking coffee with friends and of course, traveling. :)Minha atuação como professor
In general, I'm really empathic and patient and I always try my best to make people feel comfortable during our lessons. I'm also really flexible and open-minded and ready to talk about anything you're interested in. My goal as a teacher is to help my students progress in a way that suits their learning style the best. Currently I offer two types of classes:
1️⃣ Informal conversation lessons: we talk about different topics that are relevant to your life or you’re interested in. These classes are great if you want to practice speaking and improve your conversation skills.
2️⃣ Structured Hungarian lessons: we focus more on reading and writing, learning new vocabulary, looking at verb conjugations and anything else that you might need to work on. I use my own material and I also give homework.

I had a very nice first lesson with Anna. She is incredibly patient and kind and is also very helpful and supportive. She is very interested in making lessons as productive and meaningful as possible and even asked about some Hungarian resources I am currently using so that she can familiarize herself with possible questions I may have or concepts I'm learning about! I'm looking forward to future lessons!
