After graduating in Economics in the UK, I worked in finance in London for firms such as Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan and Bank of America, until moving to China in early 2017. There I studied Chinese in sunny Kunming, Yunnan before moving back to the UK five and a half years later in late 2022. I love China, and learning Mandarin has been one of the most rewarding things I've done. I love eating delicious food, and keeping fit by running, cycling and hiking. I also really enjoy travelling and have already been to many places in China.

I'll support you by correcting your grammar and pronunciation, and teaching you really useful vocabulary, phrases and idioms. Whether it's general speaking, business English or test preparation, I've got you!
I am a patient, friendly and supportive teacher, so if you feel anxious about speaking English, especially with native speakers, don’t worry! I’m certain you will feel comfortable talking with me - just check my feedback for some comments from existing students.

From CVs, cover letters and interviews to networking, negotiating and presenting, I can help you to get ahead in an English business environment.
3. Test preparation classes
I can help you prepare for IELTS, TOEFL and other English tests, and have helped many students achieve their goals.
4. Language essentials / freeform class
