Hello! My name is Lesley and I have been an ESL teacher for 11 wonderful years! I am from the UK and at present live in the north of Thailand, enjoying the weather and the mountains!
I am an avid language learner and teacher who has a TEFL Certificate, a wealth of experience in ESL teaching and over 8 years experience particularly as an IELTS teacher.
I have enjoyed living in many parts of the world, including Greece, China and Taiwan and hope that we can exchange ideas about travelling, food and culture and get inspired.Minha atuação como professor
As a teacher, I am able to develop a personalised curriculum for one on one classes, teaching a broad range of subjects including Conversation English, Business English, IELTS and Survival English.
in Taiwan, I was a private tutor, mostly to children on a one to one basis using materials and games in a fun and inspiring way.
In China, I taught adults one to one IELTS classes in a IELTS Training School with a high success rate.
I have also taught kids online with a Chinese Company which I have to say I absolutely loved. Kids always put a smile on my face and their energy and cuteness is just the best!

Depending on the lesson, my students can expect a different format.
For general classes for example, I don't just ask the student the same boring questions that you’ve heard many times over your learning experience. We could discuss some interesting material together and pose questions, assisting you in finding the answers.
My speciality area, however, is teaching the IELTS exam and I would love to help you prepare well for this exam using idioms, natural speech, conjunctions etc in accordance with the Band Score Criteria.
I have been teaching IELTS a long time and I was trained by IELTS examiners. I therefore know what the examiner is and is not looking for.Meu material de ensino

Lesley is very patient, and you never have to worry about making mistakes in her class. Her British accent is beautiful and pleasant to listen to, and you can learn many useful expressions for exams. Although she has many students, she always tailors her teaching to each individual and carefully records everyone's learning progress, ensuring continuity between lessons. I make significant progress in every session of her IELTS speaking class. I highly recommend her as an IELTS speaking teacher!!!!!
