Abdelrahman A.

Ustad Abdurrahman is a patient teacher and very understanding of my personal situation as a mature student with many other commitments. His knowledge of the Arabic language and its various sciences is to a scholarly level, beyond many of the other teachers you may find online. However, he simplifies the material to suit your personal learning needs. He also demonstrates immense passion for the all the sciences of classical Arabic including Nahw, Sarf and Balagah etc.

There are many arabic teachers available to teach but very few know how to teach. I have had a very long journey with my arabic language where i have took lot of gaps due to inconsistencies and lack of motivation from my side. Most teachers i previously had did not have the passion to teach and their teaching method was hard to learn. After a long search for a new teacher alhamdulillah i found brother abdurrahman. His schedule was busy teaching others students therefore it did not match my availability. However after taking trial lesson with him and few lessons in the beginning i was convinced this is the perfect teacher i was looking for therefore i have made changes to my schedule. Brother Abdurrahman his easy teaching style, passion, attention to detail has made the lesson easy to learn and i always look forward towards my lessons with him. I hope to inshaa Allah complete all my bayna yadak levels and beyond. Thank you brother for teaching me. May Allah reward you.

It was a good lesson yet again. We basically did a revision of the first Al-Arabi Bayna Yadayk book. It was good to get some exposure to proper Fusha. I tried my best to speak, but made many blunders. However, it does feel good to have tried to speak with all the i3raab and I know I am in good hands with Abdelrahman. It was also comforting to hear and be able to understand relatively well proper natural Fusha with all of its features intact. The beginning is always hardest, so I am curious where I perhaps will be in January, when the year has passed and four months of Arabic learning will be over. I hope that by then I will be able to pronounce Arabic well and be able to speak about basic topics easily (so maybe a low B1 level), which I think is doable with my prior experience. It all remains to be seen, but I have faith in Abdelrahman's lesson plan.

Great lesson as usual! Abdulrahman is a fantastic teacher. He took me from knowing nothing about Arabic grammar to being able to sit a university-level exam in Arabic grammar with native speakers, and that's without any hard work from my side! I just turned up for the lessons and put my trust in him to guide me in the best way possible. Highly recommended!

I had a great first experience with Abdelrahman Abdelrazek. He walked me through the steps we’ll take to fully learn the Arabic language and shared some helpful suggestions I hadn’t thought of before. They turned out to be really valuable. I’ll definitely be using him for all of my future Arabic lessons.

I cannot highly enough praise what I saw in my first lesson with Abdelrahman. It is by no means an understatement when I say this was the best of the 41 lessons I have had on iTalki so far. It is evident that Abdelrahman is extremely knowledgeable on everything having to do with the Arabic language; he is fluently able to put تشكيل on all words and makes it sound very natural. He is also well-versed in the Islamic sciences and the Arabic sciences (at least, this is the impression he gave me as someone who is not). I feel very secure that I will succeed in the hands of Abdelrahman and I look forward to meeting him a lot in the future. From what I saw so far, I am confident that Abdelrahman will be able to make me fluent in Arabic eventually! (for the non-muslims: let it be known that Abdelrahman is also very much suited for non-muslim students, as I myself am one too. This was absolutely no problem and I have received nothing but kindness from this man).
