Hi，I’m Shirley, a native Chinese Speaker from Shanghai. :)
I have worked in a university in Shanghai since 2006 and have already taught about 25k+ Chinese lessons online and offline , such as language essentials, HSK preparation ect.. My students are 7 to 65 years old, from all over the world, with many different first languages. Shirley is a very knowledgable teacher and perfectly knew how to customise the topics and material to match my work-needs!
We started with a couple of "warm-up" questions from which she very effectively assessed which topics are relevant to me and which linguistic problems I need to work on. Then proceeded to do targeted exercises that perfectly aligned with what I need to work on. Overall a great lesson!
Shirley knows how help students work on their weak spots, is good at explaining concepts using Chinese-only, is well organised, has a structured teaching approach, provides high-quality material.
