My name is Nick and I am a native English speaker. I am currently living outside Cambridge in the UK. I’ve been teaching English for over 10 years. For some of that time, I have taught at language schools in South-East Asia, and I have experience as an English language instructor in the UK, where I have worked at colleges and universities. My main hobby is listening to different genres of music, and I also play piano and acoustic guitar. In addition to that, I enjoy playing sport, including football and tennis.Minha atuação como professor
The main areas of teaching English as a foreign language that I have specialized in are General English, Business English, English for Academic Purposes, Critical Thinking and IELTS exam Preparation. Over the last several years, I have taught on numerous pre-sessional courses for students preparing to take a BA or MA degree in UK or Australian based universities.
Over my teaching career, I have instructed students of various ages, nationalities and backgrounds and I have a lot of experience teaching learners on a one-to-one basis.
In terms of credentials, I have gained a BA in Music, an MA in Education, and the English Language teaching qualifications of CELTA and DELTA.Minhas aulas e estilo de ensino

My first lesson with Nick was great! We went through the speaking paper of the CAE exam and also practiced some writing. His feedback was clear, insightful, and straight to the point.

Wow! I am absolutely impressed. Hands down Nick is a wonderful teacher of English. Having had lots of experience with different teachers and just one lesson with Nick I can already be adamant that I finally have found a true professional, with whom I am going to continue my way to fluency and accuracy in the English language!

I studied with him a few years ago and he was an expert, always correcting my mistakes, summarizing the lesson at the end of the class and giving me homework and preparation information. He was a very kind, patient and wonderful teacher, so I am studying with him again.
